The short version: we collect what you give us so we can send you a bid review or report, we do not sell your information, and you can ask us to delete it or stop contacting you at any time.

What we collect

What you send us: your name, company, work email, trade, a link to a bid, and anything you write in an email to us.
Business contact details that a company publishes itself (for example a bid-contact or office email on its own website or an official bid notice), which we may use to send a short, relevant business message with an easy way to opt out.
Billing information, if you become a customer. Payments are handled by a payment processor ([Payment processor, e.g. Stripe]); we do not see or store full card numbers.
Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, which our website host records in ordinary server logs. We do not currently run advertising or tracking cookies. [Update this line if analytics are added]

How we use it

To read the bid you send and email you the review.
To send the weekly bid list, reminders and receipts if you ask for them or become a customer.
To answer questions, keep records, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
To improve how the service works. We do not use what you send us to market to anyone else.

Who handles it

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, under their own terms: our website host ([Hosting provider]), our form-handling service (FormSubmit, which emails us what you type into our forms), our email provider, our payment processor, and AI tools that help draft reports. We tell the AI tools only what is needed for the task and never your passwords or payment details. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep review requests and customer records for as long as we are serving you and for a reasonable period afterward for records and disputes. Opt-out requests are kept so we can honor them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

Emails: every marketing email has an opt-out. You can also use our unsubscribe page or email us. We honor requests within 10 business days and usually the same day.
Access, correction, deletion: email hello@sealeddesk.com and we will respond. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, and we will honor them as they apply to us.

Security

Our site is served over HTTPS. We never ask for your SAM.gov, state-portal or bank logins. Please do not send passwords, card numbers or other sensitive details through our forms or by email. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.

We are not a government agency

SealedDesk is a private business. We are not affiliated with SAM.gov, the U.S. General Services Administration, the Small Business Administration, any state or local procurement office or any other government body. Information you give us is not given to any government agency by us unless the law requires it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will also be emailed to customers.
